Racecom is a division of Racecourse Communications Pty Ltd. Racecourse Communications take pride in their track record of providing the best products, design, ongoing support and innovation for the racing industry.

We were first to provide high-quality intelligible trackside audio and integrated computerised audio operating technologies, which transformed patron services throughout many racecourses.

David Bell

David Bell, Managing Director and founder of Racecom, has been involved in Racing since 1983. David started in the industry with AWA (Amalgamated Wireless Australasia) and soon began to direct the industry to a better place. His focus moved on the STC & AJC thoroughbred racing in Sydney, Harness racing at Harold Park & Menangle and Greyhound Racing.

In this capacity, David provided design and installation to many projects on all four Sydney racing venues including Project management to the Australian Turf Club (ATC) for the World standard Randwick Grandstand.

David has also had the privilege of being on multiple sub committee’s for the ATC Grandstand & racing program works throughout his career.

David realised very early in his career that racecourses are very different from mainstream venues; the way in which racing venues show their product, distribute their audio services, the way in which patrons like to view the odd’s monitors, they are all very unique to the racing industry and to each individual venue.

No two venues are the same; they are similar in some aspects but are individual in so many others. Respecting this is the key to a good outcome. As our world evolves, we need to evolve with it, ensuring we provide best practice, quality products that prove their worth through time.
